Author Question Time
1. Who is your favorite character from your newest release? And why? I am completely in love with Andrea’s character! She’s just so spunky!
2. How do you balance work and home life? I am constantly learning how to do this! With 3 kids, 4 fur babies, a hubby and a dozen projects going on at all times my life is chaos, but it’s fun.
3. First Paranormal romance book you read? I think the first PNR I ever read was Wuthering Heights, now I know it’s not recognized as PNR but let’s face it that romance was downright spooky!
4. Do you Google yourself? If so did you laugh or find it interesting? Yes! I was surprised to find my website come up and kind of felt cool before I laughed myself silly.
5. How do you select the names of your characters? I actually do extensive research when naming a character. I like to look at where the name originated and what it means and I compare to the character traits and quirks of who I am writing.
6. If you didn’t write, what would you do for work? Um, is reading an option? Not sure. If I could I’d be an eternal student.
7. What is your writing Kryptonite? Fighting kids and barking dogs! Sometimes I just have to put it away until all ruffled feathers are soothed.
8. Who are you reading now? Selena Scott and I think she’s brilliant.
9. Do you have a special playlist for writing? Nope. I try and tune out everything and let myself slip into my world.
10. Last, if you could go back before you published your first book and do it all over again, would you? All the hard parts and easy strides. Yep. Every bump and bruise is totally worth it.
